Mary Leverentz, a 2004 Three Rivers graduate, has signed a two-year scholarship with Wayne State's women's volleyball program. She will be challenging for the starting right-side attacker's spot. Head coach Ernie Gilbert feels Leverentz still has potential to become even a better player. "Mary is real athletic. She jumps well and hits the ball extremely hard and is a real solid blocker," Gilbert says.
